395 newly promoted uniformed personnel take oath today

Camp Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City – After going through rigorous selection and screening by the PRO2 Promotion Board, a total of 395 PNP personnel took their oath of office today, March 12, 2018 held at the Police Regional Office 2 Grandstand.

Out of the more than one thousand applicants who have undergone series of examinations and interviews conducted by the PRO2 Promotion Board spearheaded by PSSUPT PETRONELLI M BALDEBRIN, Deputy Regional Director for Administration. RPHRDD Chief, PSSUPT JUAN R AGGASID said that the promoted personnel were composed of 54 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and 341 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs). Of the 54 PCOs, 2 Police Superintendents, 2 Police Chief Inspectors, 4 Police Senior Inspectors and 46 Police Inspectors while for 341 PNCOs, 37 Senior Police Officers 3, 5 Senior Police Officers 2, 92 Senior Police Officers 1, 115 Police Officers 3 and 92 Police Officers 2.

No less than PRO2 Regional Director PCSUPT JOSE MARIO M ESPINO administered the donning/pinning of ranks and oath taking of the promotees.

In his message, RD ESPINO extended his congratulation to the promotees both Commissioned Officers and Non-commissioned Officers for their well-deserved promotion and reminded them that additional shape and lines that they have received connote more responsibilities and accountabilities. “I would like to share an inspiring quote from Mr. Francis Kong that in our organization, promotion is some sort of motivation which is our perceptions that once you are promoted, you are motivated to do more. But for you to do more good or to strive more for success, it is not the promotion as a motivation, but it is a routine,” RD ESPINO emphasized.
