PRO2 Oplan Manhunt Charlie put behind bars 6 more top wanted persons
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- Police Regional Office 2 in its intensified campaign on Oplan Manhunt Charlie arrested six (6) top wanted persons in the implementation of warrants of arrest (WOA) in separate police operations yesterday, January 22, 2021.
PRO2 Regional Director Police Brigadier General CRIZALDO O NIEVES in his report to the Chief, PNP stated that at about 3:10 PM of said date in Barangay San Nicolas, Delfin Albano, Isabela, personnel of Ilagan CPS, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Isabela PPO and Regional Intelligence Unit 2 in coordination with Delfin Albano PS arrested Edward C Baldoz , 58 years old, and a resident of Brgy. Bangag, City of Ilagan, Isabela for the crime of Murder with no bail recommended.
Separate police operations on same day also led to the arrest of Andres A Pagkaliwangan, (Top 8 Provincial Level of Cagayan PPO, Top 6 Regional Level of PRO4A and Top 1 of San Antonio MPS, Quezon PPO), 50 years old, married, baker, a native of Barangay Sampaguita, San Antonio, Quezon for the crime of Murder with no bail recommended; Jun B Tollo (Top 5 Municipal Level), 41 years old, single, college level, farmer, and a resident of Brgy. Cullit, Camalaniugan, Cagayan for Violation of RA 9165 with a recommended bail of Php200,000.00; Garry B Liangao (Top 6 Municipal Level), 22 years old, single, construction worker, and a resident of Baguio Village, Diffun, Quirino for the crime of Carnapping with a recommended bail of Php102,000.00; Joel I Yanit (Top 10 Provincial Level), 49 years old, married, jobless, and a resident of Brgy. Tokitok, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan for the crime of Forcible Abduction with Rape with no bail recommended and Soreta J Agoto, 51 years old, married, farm caretaker, and a resident of Brgy. Cabaritan, Buguey, Cagayan, for Violation of RA 9262 with a recommended bail of Php200,000.00.
All six individuals are now under the custody of the concerned police stations undergoing proper documentation before they are turned over to the courts of jurisdiction.
PBGEN NIEVES applauded the operating personnel for the successful conduct of police operations. “I congratulate everyone who took part in these operations. I further urge you to work closely with our counterparts in the prosecution and the court to make sure that justice is served to whom it is due,” RD Nieves added.
