PNP units Volt-In to extend aid to typhoon victims in Cagayan Valley

  CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- In response to the call of PNP Chief PGen Debold M Sinas, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), Police Community Affairs and Development Group and Police Units from National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) brought thousands of relief packs to Police Regional Office 2, yesterday, November 20, 2020.

  Police Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon, Regional Director of PRO3 personally turned-over over 5,000 packs of assorted relief goods to Police Regional Office 2 Regional Director PBGen CRIZALDO O NIEVES.

  Meanwhile, six trucks loaded with 1,000 bags of relief goods containing rice, canned goods, noodles and condiments from the Police Community Affairs and Development Group (PCRG) led by its Acting Director Police Colonel Eric Noble, 400 bags of assorted relief items from the Soroptimist International, and 300 bags of assorted goods from the Anti-Crime and Community Emergency Response Team (ACCERT) arrived the other day, November 19, 2020 at the PRO2 headquarters.

 On the other hand, Northern Police District, Southern Police District and Malabon City Police Station of NCRPO delivered tons of relief goods which are now being sent to the remaining barangays that were not prioritized in the previous distribution of aid.   

  PBGen NIEVES once again expressed his gratitude to the PNP leadership and police units that continue to extend their support in the relief and rehabilitation efforts of PRO2. “We are thankful to the PNP leadership and to all units for making it easier for our people to deal with the effects of this calamity,” RD NIEVES said.
