6 police stations get new patrol vehicles
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- PBGEN Crizaldo O Nieves, PRO2 Regional Director led the turn-over and blessing of the newly acquired mobility assets to six police stations today, October 30, 2020.
Six Toyota Hi-Lux pick-up trucks from the PNP National Headquarters were issued to 3 police stations of Cagayan PPO, 1 police station in Isabela PPO, and 2 police stations in Quirino PPO.
“These mobility assets will further strengthen the capabilities of our policemen in patrolling and in our overall campaign against criminality,” RD Nieves said.
Meanwhile, on same date, PBGen Nieves spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the PRO2 Premier Guest House located in an area adjacent to the Maringal Center for Excellence.
The construction of the two-storey eight-bedroom guest house with a floor area of 604 square meters was initiated by RD Nieves with a project cost of 8.9 million pesos. The facility will cater to PRO2 personnel and civilian visitors transacting official business inside the Regional Headquarters.
RD Nieves revealed that the initial funding of the phase 1 of the project came from the Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association Incorporated (PNPAAAI) fund amounting to one million pesos.
