340 Rookie Cops undergo Basic Internal Security Operations Course
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- Three Hundred Forty new breed of Valley Cops officially started their Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) today, October 26, 2020.
PRO2 Regional Director, PBGEN Crizaldo O Nieves administered the opening ceremony of the said course this morning which was held at the PRO2 Grandstand.
In his message, the Regional Director challenged the said young policemen to take the training seriously and give their best in order to enhance their individual skills to efficiently and effectively perform their assigned tasks.
“At the end of this training, you are expected to be better law enforcers who share the responsibility of responding to the challenge of continuous maintenance of peace and order in our area of responsibility. The conduct of this course would surely result to improved ability and competence among all of you which is one of the policy concerns of our organization,” PBGEN Nieves added.
The 60-day course which will be facilitated by the Regional Special Training Unit 2 will inculcate among the students basic mindset and instinct, provide indoctrination, instill discipline and mold their character and develop individual and unit skills and knowledge for Internal Security Operations (ISO).
After the completion of the said course, the young valley cops will be the first batch who will join the reorganized Mobile Forces under the supervision of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations Northern Luzon (DIPO-NL) to further strengthen the campaign against insurgency in Region 2.
