Nueva Vizcaya’s pride PBGEN CASIMIRO takes post as new ARD PRO2
Camp Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City –PBGEN ANGELITO CASIMIRO assumed post as new Acting Regional Director of PRO2 today, October 23, 2019 replacing the outgoing RD PBGEN JOSE MARIO M ESPINO.
PBGEN GILBERTO DC CRUZ, Director Directorate for Integrated Police Operations Northern Luzon administered the assumption of office together with the Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN JO HN CORNELIUS A JAMBORA held at the PRO2 Covert Court.
PBGEN CRUZ challenged the incoming ARD to take charge of the flagship of one of the largest regions in the country. “It will never be easy I tell you. But I am confident that you will not be freightened by this responsibility because you are equipped with enough passion and dedication to service,” He said.
Meanwhile, ARD CASIMIRO assured to continue the PNP program thrust especially in the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, Anti-Insurgency and ensure the decisively effect implementation of the PNP’s Internal Cleansing Program. He reiterated the series of guidelines announced earlier by the new PNP leadership to include the following: No Golf Policy during weekdays, it may only be allowed during holidays and weekends; Unauthorized presence in places of ill-reputes; gambling places and other similar activities; No to “kotong”; No used of recovered evidence motor vehicles/motorcycles; and No use of PNP personnel private vehicles without plate number.
“As your newly designated ARD, I cannot do this alone, I need a strong work force to achieve the goals we have. I know that we can all do these if we work hand in hand. Rest assured that we will work together with whatever happens and I hope that through our combined efforts, we will succeed in our endeavor of serving and protecting our country and its people,” ARD CASIMIRO added.
ARD CASIMIRO who is former Director, Logistics Support Service, Camp Crame, Quezon City and a proud member of the Philipine Military Academy 1988 “Class Maringal” was designated Acting Regional Director of PRO2 effective October 20, 2019 following the major revamp implemented by the PNP OIC LTGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO GAMBOA .
