PRO2 warriors display gallantry during armed encounter

   CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY-PNP personnel of 205th Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 2 displayed bravery in the performance of their duty during a bloody clash with the Communist Terrorist Group in San Guillermo, Isabela early morning of October 22, 2019.

   PRO2 Acting Regional Director, PBGEN ANGELITO ABELLERA CASIMIRO in his report to PNP Officer-in-Charge, PLTGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO GAMBOA stated that at about 5:00 AM of same date, one (1) platoon of 205th Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB2) while moving towards Brgy. Burgos, San Guillermo, Isabela, encountered undetermined number of Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) that resulted in the killing of Pat Henry Tummap Gayaman and wounding of PCpl Edieboy Tumaliuan Vinasoy Pat Alfred Pondemira Taliano.

   The two (2) wounded PNP personnel are now under medical treatment and in stable condition.

   ARD CASIMIRO commended the heroism of the three (3) PNP members who displayed gallantry during the said armed encounter. He also expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family of Pat Gayaman. “The entire PNP organization grieves for the untimely demise of Pat Gayaman and we assure that the PNP will provide financial assistance to the family of Pat Gayaman and to the wounded personnel as well,” ARD CASIMIRO said.

   The 205th Maneuver Company, RFMB2 Operating troops together with 86th IB, PA are still conducting pursuit operations against the said CTG's for their possible arrest.
