PNP 4th Man, 6 other Police Generals visited PRO2 for the AOPBE

CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY-The Chief Directorial Staff of the Philippine National Police, PLTGEN CAMILO PANCRATIUS CASCOLAN and six (6) other star ranks from the PNP National Headquarters visited PRO2 today, July 16, 2019 for the Review and Validation of the Annual Operations Plans and Budget Estimate for Calendar Year 2021 of PRO2 and Consultation Workshop on the PNP Legislative Agenda for the 18th Congress.

PLTGEN CASCOLAN, in his interview with the media emphasized the importance of the review and validation of the AOPB to ensure that the processes and tools of AOPB were really cascaded to the Regional Offices down to police stations.

The Review and Validation of the Annual Operations Plans and Budget Estimate for Calendar Year 2021 of PRO2 and Consultation Workshop on the PNP Legislative Agenda for the 18th Congress will be held on July 17-18, 2019 at Pulsar Hotel, Peñablanca, Cagayan to be participated by all Provincial Directors/ City Director, Santiago City Police Office, Directorial Staffs/ Program Directors, Focal Persons and Selected City/Municipal Police Stations in Region 2.

The annual conduct of the review and validation of the AOPB from the PROs down to its line Units/Offices paved the way for its operationalization and subsequent institutionalization. In order to sustain these efforts, it is imperative to assess the effectiveness of the mainstreaming done to ensure that the processes and tools of AOPB were really cascaded down to the grass roots of the PNP, In this way genuine institutionalization and mainstreaming will be realized by ensuring that all police units/offices will be accountable for their respective AOPB which is usually prepared by D-Staff/Program Directors/RSU in the past without sufficient consultation and deliberation with units/offices under them.

Meanwhile, part of their visit to PRO2, PLTGEN CASCOLAN assisted by PRO2 Regional Director, PBGEN JOSE MARIO M ESPINO together with RCLO2 Regional Chief, PCOL RICARDO S HIDALGO led the Groundbreaking of the new Regional Crime Laboratory Office 2 (RCLO2).  While the better half of TCDS, MRS AMELIA CASCOLAN and MRS RORIE ESPINO led the inauguration of the SINAGTALA Hall at Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
