2 drug personalities to include DI watch list arrested in drug buy-bust
CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY- Two (2) drug personalities were arrested in separate police operations in Santiago City and Nueva Vizcaya province on yesterday, June 27, 2019.
PRO2 Officer-In-Charge PBGEN JOHN CORNELIUS A JAMBORA in his report to Camp Crame stated that at about 8:40 PM of same date at Galo St., Purok 3, Brgy. Dubinan West, Santiago City, Quirico Bondoc Llantada aka Renan, 41 years old, married and a resident of P-2, Brgy. Patul, Santiago City was arrested by the joint personnel of SDEU PS2, CDEU SCPO and SDEU PS1 through anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation. Confiscated from the direct possession and control of the suspect was one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and Php500.00 used as buy bust money. Llantada is included in DI watchlist (Reloaded) and previously surrendered last Nov 7, 2018.
A case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against Llantada while cases for violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 are being prepared for filing in court against Salvio.Meanwhile, at about 9:30 PM of of same date, Bambang Police Station arrested Joajie Salvio, 42 years old, a native of Calangcuasan, Ilocos Sur and presently residing at Brgy. Macate, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya for violation of Ra 9165 and RA 10591 infront of Met Met Videokebar, Hernandez Compound, Brgy. Almaguer North, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya. Investigation conducted by Bambang PS revealed that the suspect who was drinking liquor infront of said videoke bar was carrying a short firearm tucked in his waist. Personnel of Bambang PS proceeded at the said place and upon arrival thereat, the suspect tried to enter the said bar but the responding police officer saw the protruding handle of a short firearm tucked in his waist prompting the police officer to approach him and seized the short firearm. Upon verification, the suspect failed to present document of said firearm. Confiscated from his possession one (1) piece caliber 45 (chamber loaded); one (1) piece magazine loaded with five (5) pcs live ammunition (inserted); two (2) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana with fruiting tops; one (1) unit of Samsung Cellphone; two (2) pieces disposable lighter; cash amounting to Php520.00; one (1) piece black side holster; and one (1) piece handkerchief.
PBGEN JAMBORA commended the operating teams for another notable operational accomplishment.
