PRO2 nabbed High Value Target, 2 others
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY – Police Regional Office 2 in its intensified campaign against illegal drugs arrested three (3) drug personalities to include a High Value Target in separate police operations yesterday, June 20, 2019.
PRO2 Officer-In-Charge, PBGEN JOHN CORNELIUS A JAMBORA stated that at about 7:30 AM of same date, at Purok Uno, Brgy. Minuri, Jones, Isabela, joint personnel of RID2; RDEU; PIB, Isabela PPO; 3rd Platoon, 2nd Isabela PMFC; and Jones PS in coordination with the PDEA2 conducted surveillance and monitoring against Francis Mart "Bong" Apolinario, 37 years old, Brgy. Kagawad, High Value Target - DI Listed, married, driver and a resident of the said place. Investigation disclosed that the suspect was repeatedly selling dangerous drugs within the municipality of Jones, Isabela and nearby municipalities. Said suspect was arrested through anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation. Confiscated/Recovered from the possession and control of the suspect one (1) piece Pph500.00 bill (Buy bust money), three (3) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be SHABU and One (1) Unit Mio motorcycle without plate number.
Meanwhile, at about 9:30 PM of same date, along the National Road, Purok 3, Rizal, Santiago City, joint personnel of RDEU/RSOG/RID, PRO2; CDEU/CIB, SCPO; and SDEU, PS1 conducted anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of Jerry Manuel Labarias, 28 years old, married, farmer and April Turingan Labarias, 26 years old, married, self-employed, and both residents of Purok 3, Brgy Nabbuan, Santiago City for selling one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be "Shabu" to a Police Officer who acted as poseur buyer in consideration of Php500.00. Another two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance were confiscated from the direct possession and control of Jerry Labarias while the buy-bust money was recovered in the possession of April Labarias.
A case for violation of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
