PRO2 celebrates 121st Philippine Independence Day
Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City –Police Regional Office 2, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN JOHN CORNELIUS A JAMBORA led the celebration of the 121st Philippine Independence Day held in front of PRO2 Administrative building with the theme “Tapang ng Bayan, Malasakit ng Mamamayan” on June 12, 2019.
The activity was part of the nationwide simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony conducted by all Government Agencies in the country. During the activity, PRO2 recalls the evolution of Philippine Flags by reading each flag’s historical facts and on how our Filipino ancestors fought for our independence.
“Ipakita natin ang tunay na puso ng pulis, ang pusong may malasakit at hanadang mag alay ng buhay para sa sambayanan, ang pusong magiting at matapang sa harap ng anumang hamon at panganib at ang pusong may takot at paniniwala sa diyos at nag aalab na pagmamahal sa bayan”, PNP Chief, PNP PGEN OSCAR D ALBAYALDE said in his message delivered by PBGEN JAMBORA.
The Chief PNP further says that the dedication to our sworn duties was the best weapon in order to enjoy the independence once fought by our heroes for the attainment of permanent change.
Likewise, the activity was also highlighted with Wreath Ceremony and Blessing of the PRO2 Memorial Headstone led by PBGEN JAMBORA held at the Governor Marcelo Adduru Monument, Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City in commemoration of the heroic deeds of our valiant comrades and sacrificing their lives for attaining a peaceful country.
