Number 8 High Value Target (HVT) in Cagayan Valley, 6 others nabbed

 CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY –One of the most notorious drug personalities in Cagayan Valley and six (6) others involved in illegal drugs were arrested in separate Anti- Illegal Drugs operations in different places in the Region yesterday, June 1, 2019.

 PRO2 RD PBGEN JOSE MARIO M ESPINO in his report to Camp Crame stated that at about 8:30 PM of June 1, 2019 at Don Francisco Village, Purok 1, Brgy. Sagana, Santiago City, joint personnel of SDEU PS2, RDEU PRO2, CDEU and PDEA RO2 conducted anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of Franklin Salvador Baggay aka PANGKI, 35 years old, Top #8 HVT Regional Watchlist, married, self-employed and a resident of said place for selling one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu to a Police Officer who acted as poseur buyer in consideration of Php1,000.00 buy-bust money. Recovered from the suspect is the buy-bust money.

 Other drug personalities arrested were Jeffrey Amin y Arzadon, 33 years old, married and a resident of Purok 6, Brgy. Rizaluna, Alicia, Isabela; Mariano Salvador Baggay, 37 years old, married, engineer by profession and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. Villasis, Santiago City; Randy Yasay y Alvarina, 16 years old, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Banggot, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya; Elimar Daigdigan Aboc , 42 years old, single, tricycle driver; and Marilyn Gomez Valdez, 47 years old, widow, unemployed, both residents of said place; Arnold Quintos y Padua aka Samson Quinto y Padua, 21 years old, single, unemployed and a resident of P-2, Brgy. Bugallon Proper, Ramon, Isabela.

 A case for violation of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.

 RD ESPINO commended the operating teams for a job well done. He added that the neutralization of the suspects will surely create supply reduction of illegal drugs in the region.
