RD Nieves conducts random inspection in police stations in Cagayan

CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY – Police Brigadier General Crizaldo Nieves, Regional Director conducted random inspection, turned-over firearms to beef up shoot capabilities and awarded medals for the notable operational accomplishments of personnel of Baggao, Abulug, Camalaniugan and Buguey Police Stations of Cagayan Police Provincial Office yesterday.

RD Nieves expressed his profound gratitude for the full and unceasing support of the Local Government Units and other stakeholders to the PNP most especially on the continuous conduct of BARANGAYanihan activities. He also emphasized the guidance of Police General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, Chief PNP on his Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) focusing on the cleanliness of police stations, ranks and the community.

During the visits, seven Galil rifles were awarded to Baggao Police Station; one computer set to Abulug Police Station; five Galil rifles and one computer set to Camalaniugan Police Station; and eight Galil rifles to Buguey Police Station which were received by their respective Chiefs of Police. RD Nieves mentioned that said computers are intended for the E-Sumbong and E-Serbisyo under PNP Lingkod Bayanihan.

Other officials present on said activities were Police Lieutenant Colonel Carlito Narag, Chief, Regional Highway Patrol Unit 2, Attorney Gelacio Bongad, NBI Regional Director, Regional Office 2, Police Lieutenant Colonel Jefferson Cariaga, Acting Chief, Regional Logistics and Research Development Division, Police Colonel Renell Sabaldica, Chief, Regional Comptrollership Division, Police Colonel Ariel Quilang, Provincial Director, Cagayan PPO, Police Lieutenant Colonel Lord Wilson Adorio, Force Commander, Cagayan Mobile Force Company and Chief of Police of Baggao, Abulug, Camalaniugan and Buguey Police Stations and Municipal Mayors of the said towns.
