Region 2's Top 4 Most Wanted Person nabbed in Sta. Ana, Cagayan
CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY - After five years of hiding, a murder suspect classified as Top 4 Most Wanted Person in Region 2 was finally arrested in an intelligence-driven manhunt operation in Barangay Samuk-Samuk, Sta. Ana, Cagayan this morning.
Police report reveals that Noel Suguitan, thirty-eight years old, construction worker and a resident of D'Leaño, Claveria, Cagayan but currently residing in the place of arrest killed his own uncle, Johny Menor on February 4, 2016.
The suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for Murder issued by Judge Gemma P. Bucayo-Madrid, Executive Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 12, Sanchez Mira, Cagayan on November 16, 2016 with no bail recommended.
Behind this successful police operation were the personnel of Regional Intelligence Unit 2 (RIU2) - Provincial Intelligence Team (PIT); Claveria Police Station; Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) - Cagayan Police Provincial Office; NISU12, AFP; 2nd Cagayan Provincial Mobile Force Company and Western Cagayan Maritime Police Station, Regional Maritime Unit 2.
Suguitan is now under the custody of Claveria Police Station for documentation prior to his turn-over to the court of origin.
